In order to balance security and ease of communication with your provider, Dr. De Boer will invite all current clients to use an application called Medeo. Medeo is a platform where you can:
- Schedule appointments online
- View your upcoming scheduled appointments and cancel appointments
- Send Dr. De Boer secure messages
- Receive resources from Dr. De Boer
- Participate in virtual appointments from an app on your smart phone
- Login to the Medeo portal on your web browser to participate in virtual appointments
- Receive your invoices for appointments
Dr. De Boer uses a number of different forms of electronic technology to facilitate your care. Brief descriptions of the various tools she uses are included below:
– QHR Accuro is the Electronic Records System and Practice Management Software used at Curious Paradox Psychological. Accuro is a Canadian company and compliant with Canadian and Alberta laws for privacy requirements for health care providers.
– Ocean Cognisant MD is a platform that Dr. De Boer uses to send forms (i.e., covid-19 screening forms, registration forms, consent forms) to her clients. An email is sent to the client’s inbox with a time-limited link that takes the client to a password protected and encrypted link to enter their personal health information.
